Bobby's Journey: From Enterprise to Elegant Systems

Before co-founding KODA, I spent nearly a decade in the Fortune 500 world, leading digital transformation initiatives at Rockwell Automation and its consulting arm, Kalypso. I helped global enterprises modernize through AI-powered data platforms and strategic technology implementations.

Those years showed me how powerful automation could be when applied strategically—but also how inaccessible it was to most businesses. The small and medium-sized companies that needed it most were locked out by complexity and cost.

That realization sparked my entrepreneurial path. I founded Bonzai, a platform built to make AI and automation affordable and actionable for businesses that couldn't afford enterprise solutions. The mission was simple: build systems that work so seamlessly, you forget they're there.

At KODA, I bring that same philosophy forward. My role bridges the creative and the technical, designing the workflow systems, integrations, and AI-driven tools that let our clients focus on their mission while technology handles the machinery.

With a mechanical engineering degree from Marquette University, certifications in AI system design and cloud infrastructure, and years leading technical projects at scale, I approach every solution with a builder's mindset and strategic thinking. The goal is always the same: make it elegant, make it effective, make it invisible.

Chris's Journey: Finding the Koda

For years, I worked with online coaches and healers through my Parker Empowerment brand. It was a life mission for me helping them launch their businesses and grow their brands so they could reach the people who needed their transformations most.

The goal was exponential impact. By helping the helpers, we could touch countless lives.

In 2021, I started consulting for USave Pharmacy Buying Group, a network of 150+ independent pharmacies. That's when I encountered something familiar: business owners on a mission to provide exceptional service and care to their communities, so those communities could thrive.

I watched these owners pour their hearts into knowing their customers by name, going above and beyond every single day. But they were drowning—staff burnout, endless administrative work, and a younger generation that didn't even know they existed.

The pivot was natural. The missions were aligned. Helping one mission-driven business owner impacts hundreds of families in their community. Same exponential impact. Same purpose. Different vehicle.

That's when I found the concept of the "Kodama", a word from Bobby which is the spirit that lives within a tree in Japanese folklore. Every business has its own Kodama, its authentic reason for existing. Seeing an amplifying my clients spirit had always been the cornerstone of how I work with clients.
My role became clear: find that spirit, amplify it through marketing, and use technology to scale it without losing what makes it special.
